Quality, Functionality & Reliability go
into every skid that leaves our shop
PUMPS:
ECT uses high quality pumps with stainless steel wetted components. Our competitors use lower cost piston pumps which typically have bronze or carbon steel wetted components.
In turbine applications, the water is almost always demineralized/deionized. This water is extremely corrosive to low grade metals and alloys. The results are a high rate of pump failure, an increased risk of spalled metal being formed and the release of by-products causing high temperature corrosion.
Our pumps have also been proven to reduce the shearing of detergent molecules, which prevent foaming and enhances detergent performance. Our pumps and motors are sized to meet the OEM recommended flows.
CONTROL PANELS:
ECT control panels are typically enclosed and air-conditioned to ensure maximum service life with minimum down time. Safety packages and alarms are offered on even our most basic skids.
TANKAGE:
To cut costs, our competitors often undersize the tankage on their skids. ECT skids are built to accommodate any mix ratio, including our own economical 6:1 ratio. We offer both in-tank mixing and automated, in-line mixing. Heaters are offered as an option for off-line cleaning which reduces the time required to cool down the rotor and increases cleaning efficiency.
OTHER INNOVATIONS:
ECT pioneered the use of variable frequency drives, which gives the operator the widest possible range of flows. ECT also pioneered the development of using one skid to clean multiple compressors.
